Laser Treatment for Facial Veins and Birthmarks - How It Is Done
The treatment is uncomfortable, particularly in sensitive areas such as around the nose, but it does not take long to do, usually five minutes or so. Eye protection is worn. The laser pulses about once a second. Local anesthetic or intravenous sedation is used for larger treatment areas.
