Comments: This patient wished to have a tattoo removed from her right upper arm. Her “after” photograph was taken on the day her sutures were removed, two weeks after her third- stage excision. The suture tracks are still conspicuous. She has some early puckering at each end (“dog ears”) that flatten out over the next few months. Because of the relatively large size of her tattoo, three procedures were needed, all done in the office under local anesthetic. She was pleased to have the tattoo eliminated.
