Comments: This patient had very baggy eyelids and extra fat under the chin. A brown spot of the right cheek was eliminated using the erbium laser. After surgery, coworkers thought he looked well-rested and asked if he had gone on vacation.

E.I. (Age 42) - Sales
Procedure: Eyelid Surgery
Description: Upper Blepharoplasties and Septorhinoplasty

Testimonial: “I had some breathing problems because of past sports injuries to my nose and I decided to have my upper eyelids done at the same time. The first two or three days were pretty miserable. After that, it really wasn’t bad. The difference in my appearance is subtle and natural-looking, which is what I wanted, and my breathing is better.”

J.C. (Age 45) - Sales
Procedure: Eyelid Surgery
Description: Upper and Lower Blepharoplasties

Testimonial: “I have gotten nothing but complements from co-executives and friends on my new energized look. On a personal and professional level, your help has enabled me to continue to reach for my goals. Your friendly and knowledgeable staff informed me, calmed and expediently took care of my needs.”

D.C. (Age 47) - Heating and Air Conditioning
Procedure: Eyelid Surgery
Description: Correction of “Bug Eyes”:Lower Blepharoplasties, Fat Injection and Rhinoplasty.

Comments: This patient did not like his “bug eyes” and wanted a larger, more Roman nose. The area under the eyes was filled in with fat so that his eyes no longer appear to protrude. The lower blepharoplasties eliminated the excess skin and helped to redrape the tissues. Combined with fat injection, this procedure smoothed out the lid-cheek junction, making him look younger. The rhinoplasty has given him a stronger, more masculine nasal profile.

L. (Age 53) - Building Maintenance
Procedure: Eyelid Surgery
Description: Upper and lower blepharoplasties

Testimonial: “I felt like I looked a lot older than what I actually was. I didn’t want to look any younger than I am. I just wanted to look as good as I could for my age. I never had to take the pain medication. I took a couple of Tylenol® the day of the surgery and never required anything for pain from that point on. Within two weeks of surgery, I looked better than what I expected. The results that I have experienced since I have had the surgery - the people closest to me could tell a big difference in my appearance and yet the people that I was associated with in my business really noticed nothing. My daughter commented on noticing the color of my eyes which she didn’t notice before. The biggest impact personally was that I noticed the difference. Whether anybody else did or not didn’t really matter. I knew I looked better.”

R.M. (Age 60) - Educator
Procedure: Eyelid Surgery
Description: Upper Blepharoplasties and Endoscopic Forehead Lift

Comments: This 60 year-old school counselor found that the extra loose skin of his upper lids was starting to interfere with his vision. We discussed a combination of upper blepharoplasties, to trim this excess skin, and an endoscopic forehead lift to reelevate his eyebrows. He understood that sagging eyebrows were contributing to the problem. He had his surgery during the summer school break. He found it amusing that one of the teachers asked if he’d been meditating during the summer break. His eyesight was improved immediately. He was especially pleased at how well hidden the incisions were and the fact that he did not look “overly alert.”
