Comments: This patient wore facial hair to try to define his jawline. He was in excellent physical condition and at ideal body weight, but did not appear lean. He requested a stronger jawline. He said he had been self-conscious about the large size of his nose. Therefore, a rhinoplasty was done along with a chin augmentation using a square chin implant that provides a masculine jawline. Many female patients who have looked at these pictures find his “after” appearance much more desirable. One volunteered that she’d date the guy on the right, not the guy on the left.

Comments: This 37 year-old Hispanic male had always been self-conscious about his small chin and, like many men, wore a goatee for camouflage. He requested a “more Caucasian” appearance.

Comments: This patient had been self-conscious about his small chin. He had the negative synergy of a small chin and submental fat. His profile is now balanced. Fat injection was used to treat his smile creases, frown line, and fill out his cheeks.
