In 1995, the Swanson Center performed its first endoscopic forehead lift. The use of endoscopic visualization and instruments revolutionized forehead rejuvenation.

The Swanson Center introduced ultrasonic liposuction to Kansas City in 1997. This technique was developed and refined over the previous decade in Europe and is now used widely in the United States. Over 2,000 men and women have had ultrasonic liposuction at the Swanson Center, one of the largest volumes in the country.

The Swanson Center introduced the EpiTouch laser to Kansas City for hair removal in 1997 and the Cynosure^® long-pulsed alexandrite Apogee^® laser in 1998. Thousands of men and women have benefitted from this remarkable application of laser technology.

In 1998, the Swanson Center built Kansas City's first licensed, ambulatory surgery center specializing in cosmetic and laser surgery.
