resurfacing. Had 3cc. collagen injection one week before this photo was
taken. Smoker. Had delayed healing of right areolar incision - bruising
visible.
"What made me decide to have a breast lift was just all my life, I developed early and at 12 years old I was starting to have breasts and even as a swimmer I always had sagging boobs. It just didn’t matter how much I exercised, how much I guarded, it was just an area of my body that I have felt self-conscious about, uncomfortable with and I do like to jog and to exercise and when you get into having to wear even two support bras underneath your leotard unable to jog four miles, it was having to do that, it was uncomfortable. It was uncomfortable to not being able to wear pretty lingerie without having to have an industrial strength bra underneath. So when Dr. Swanson performed it I said if he needed to reduce some that’s fine with me and I went from a 34D to a 34C and love it. I love being able to wear the first time in my life I have appeared in public without a bra on and it has changed my life a lot. I feel a lot freer. It is fun to go shopping, it is fun to try on clothes and not have to have everything tailored to wear, you can wear a strapless gown and spaghetti strap dress. I like to wear summer clothes and not feel like I have to have a lot of support underneath.
It was painless, it wasn’t very hard to get over it to recover from it, it was worth it. It was worth every bit of it to me.
As far as scarring, it was kind of funny, I had a facial done recently and the gal that was doing my facial told me about her sister who had a breast reduction years ago and had horrible scarring and was really self-conscious about it and she was asking me about mine and I ended up just showing her my breasts and she couldn’t believe the lack of scarring because the only place where anything shows was underneath and with the exception of the man that I live with I’m not planning on anybody seeing them so I can wear a strapless dress or a spaghetti strap sun dress and absolutely nothing shows and that alone is a comfort because I don’t have to wear any heavy straps that leave indentations on the shoulders because of the weight of the breasts. I’m free of all of that. It just feels great to be able to go, just looking forward to today going down to the Plaza, going shopping and picking out a sun dress."
