Fat injection has been refined over the last decade and is now a very popular treatment both on its own and in combination with other facial rejuvenation procedures. Its advantages are that it is your own tissue that is used (usually no problem with supply), it is completely natural and safe, can be injected in higher quantities that other injectable fillers, and because it contains living cells, a portion of these will survive the transfer and provide lasting improvement (much different from collagen which is completely absorbed in three months).
