Comment: This patient complained of left breast discomfort and change in the shape of her breasts. She on longer desired a large breast volume. She had a "closed capsulotomy" for capsular contracture on the left side years ago. She desired a lift. At surgery, the old silicone gelfilled implant on the left side was found to be disintegrated. The right implant remained intact, although there was oozing of the silicone gel in the pocket. Note the improved appearance of the scar with time.
